Description
"Bain de Soleil" from the "Weightlessness" series. This work is currently available in dibond print as well as in a light box on request (print on plexiglass) in the following size: - 110 x 110 cm The photograph and its certificate are provided with a double holographic pellet (European standard) allowing authenticate the work. A few words from the artist: "One day the Earth turned faster, much much much faster... So fast that the centrifugal force canceled out all gravity... And everything gained height. Childhood, the carelessness, the joy, the laughter and the dreams that we have lost, these moments of play that we seek to remember... I wanted to remember these images that made me smile and transform reality too banal or still too distant, these images which illustrated many mysteries and disguised boredom as comedy. A little staging, a little research, we taste, we wonder... and if the look was not What fantasy? My apologies to Isaac Newton." -Nicolas Boutruche
Presentation
Nicolas Boutruche is a French photographer and director.
As a child, he was quickly attracted by photography and drawing. Nicolas did scientific studies but finished university quite quickly. He forged a report card and joined cinema school.
After shooting several short movies, he directed hundreds of music and corporate commercials. But he felt the need to express his own emotions therefore Nicolas stopped working for others and left the world of cinema for photography.
The French photographer is like a storyteller and has created many dynamic works filled with humor. They are about human architecture and childhood.
He displayed a first photo series about "weightlessness" in 2009, where color and movement combine to create extraordinary images. Six years later, Nicolas began a second series called “Du Voyeurisme au 1/10e". He received the photography of the year award in 2016, in the category of digital creation.
