Description
Artist Overside paid tribute to photographer Jamel Shabazz by recreating a digital staging. Shabazz is one of the premier street style photographers of his generation, whose focus has been on the streets of Brooklyn rather than the catwalks. Let's go back to the work of this pioneer. Although his name may not tell you anything, Jamel Shabazz is an important figure in street style photography. The work is sold unframed.
Work printed on 180 g paper
Presentation
OverSide a unique creative artist born in 1988 in Nice.
It has always been at the heart of the triptych of three complementary arts: photography, visual art and architecture.
What makes him unique in his art is to understand then to lead his passenger to travel towards the path of plenitude ... Thus he gives birth to a flood of furiously contemporary emotions by reinventing the icons which are the imprints of our past.
OverSide is also the friend and confidant of artists who uses difference to make it a coherent whole and by highlighting a universe still unknown to all.
His strength comes from his genius at mixing styles using acrylic paint and aerosol spray, thus appropriating his own signature, represented by the crown of thorns.
None of the symbols are random. Indeed the crown represents power.
All these representations have as a common point the crown of thorns which is the imprint and the legacy that their actions have left in our memory. He represents on his paintings the characters who have marked us all ...
