Created on a lonely evening, her self-portraits - and particularly her face painting - enabled her to break out of the false identity she was creating for herself. With a new face, both more anonymous and expressive, she became everyone and no-one at the same time. So she began working on variations on the self-portrait, in order to reappropriate her own image. By questioning herself, she has created a new identity where she feels free to interpret, play and love herself.
During her latest photo shoots, she created Accompanied Self-Portraits to confuse the viewer about the identity of each person. Who's who? Is she the author? The co-model? Or is it just a reflection of the viewer himself?
The touches of color are done in watercolor.
