Description
Presentation
1987. He lives and works in Ibiza. Since then he has been a fashion photo- grapher working with many of the top houses. Elle, Marie-Claire, Levi's, Coca Cola, Virgin, Saab, Delvaux, Lowe Lintas and Ogilvy are some of his clients.
Among other distinctions, his photography for the Saab campaign was awarded the Silver Lion at the
Cannes International Advertising Festival. Eric Ceccarini is set apart from many of his colleagues by his way of shunning technical artifice and working in natural light mostly with Polaroid film. This results in soft, velvety, almost painterly images.
In his artistic works, he captures women's essence and soul, transcending them. His work has been exhibited in Belgium, France, Spain Switzerland, The Netherlands, China, the UK, the USA and Singapore. He took part in Art Paris art fair in 2011 and Fotofever in 2013 and 2014. Recently he has been selected for a project dedicated to Belgian culture in Manhattan, and the city of Liège organized a show for him in a cathedral, set for 2016.
