Description
This artwork presents a striking sculpture of a crouching figure, crafted in a smooth, light-toned stone. The form resonates with classical influences, capturing an intimate moment of introspection. The figure's posture, with its bent knees and slightly turned head, conveys an enigmatic blend of grace and contemplation. The motion blur effect adds a dynamic quality, infusing the static medium with a sense of movement and mystique, challenging the viewer to perceive the unknown. The sculpture's subtle play of light and shadow accentuates its curves, amplifying the tactile appeal. This piece stands out for its ability to blend traditional sculptural mastery with a modern, experimental visual approach, inviting interpretations that bridge the past and present.
From Touching the skin of the past series. Other sizes: Small size: 20 x 13.3 in. Edition of 5 + 1AP, and Large size: 70 x 45 in. Edition of 5 + 1AP
