 Miami Skin is one of the few “Still photo” projects realized only in Black and White. It’s not a traditional collection of photos of the architecture of Miami and Miami Beach. It’s rather a quick journey between its own skin from the Art Deco District to the modern skyline of our days. Stripes, circles, squares, and reflections show only some details of important buildings but they all have the power to raise emotions and unexpected shapes and volumes inside us. A final touch is reserved for natural skin from the ocean to the tropical vegetation. You need now to make an effort of imagination to discover and compose all pictures and eventually frame them in your own mind.

This artwork presents a striking modern architectural form, captured in high-contrast black and white. The image focuses on the sleek, curvilinear edges of a building, emphasizing its layered, flowing design. The perspective draws the viewer's eye upwards along the rhythmic, symmetrical bands that cascade seamlessly from the corner of the structure, creating a dynamic sense of movement. The sharp contrast between the pristine white surfaces and the deep black background highlights the structure’s bold, minimalist elegance. This composition masterfully integrates light and shadow, enhancing the sculpture-like quality of the architecture. The abstraction in the image transforms the building into a study of form and space, inviting contemplation on modern architectural aesthetics.
