A portrait series capturing iconic figures through fogged glass.
Each subject stands behind a misted surface — partially hidden, partly revealed — drawing their own symbol into the condensation. The result is an image that feels both intimate and distant: a glimpse of recognition blurred by time and memory. reflects on how identity and legacy endure, even when the outlines fade — leaving only a trace, a gesture, a mark on the glass.
Presentation
Roco Studio works with different techniques, from acrylic paint, (neon) ink, spray cans, screen printing, handmade stencils to manipulated photography. The wide use of techniques and materials contributes to the typical Roco style.
The use of spray cans, screen printing and the layering give it a distinctly raw and street art feeling. And where the portraits made of acrylic paint and with a background of manipulated photography, provide a powerful pop art image.
