Description
This artwork presents a striking, spherical composition entirely made of various pills and capsules against a stark black background. The sphere is meticulously crafted, featuring pills of different shapes, sizes, and colors—ranging from small, round tablets to elongated capsules. The arrangement creates a mesmerizing pattern, symbolizing the complex world of pharmaceuticals and reflecting on themes of dependency and modern medicine. The high contrast between the vibrant assortment of pills and the deep black backdrop enhances the visual impact, drawing the viewer's attention to the intricate details and textures. The piece challenges perceptions, encouraging contemplation of the pervasive role of medications in contemporary life. This unique visual metaphor captivates with its boldness and thought-provoking narrative.
Zoltan Gerliczki took advantage of global circumstances to emerge as an artist who crosses borders. Gerliczki's images are a continuation of the artist's journey from the unknown to the digital, constantly trying to create new art using the brain and technology. The artist frequently presents fragmented human and organic elements, filled with a plethora of colors and dreams reminiscent of classic references to Dutch masters such as Michelangelo or Dante.
