Description
This artwork showcases a striking aerial view of two adjacent sports fields—one a verdant football pitch, and the other a vibrant orange tennis court. Each field is meticulously outlined. The football pitch, positioned on the left, features goalposts, a central circle, and demarcated boundary lines, all depicted in clean, crisp white lines against the rich green texture that suggests a well-maintained grassy surface. In contrast, the tennis court on the right, with its deep, earthy terracotta hue, stands out against the surrounding green, creating a visually compelling juxtaposition. The tennis court contains multiple subdivisions, representing singles and doubles lines. Presentation
Fred Borghesi is an Italian artist born in 1987 who lives and works in London, UK. He is above all a multidisciplinary artist, constantly switching between mediums, using painting, photography, printmaking and filmmaking. He had his work exhibited at the London Art Biennale, The Ruth Borchard collection and pre-selected by The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition. His works has been published by many English and Spanish art magazines, both printed and online.
