The work titled “We Need a New Noah's Ark," is inspired by the sixth chapter of Genesis, where the Ark-a symbol of salvation from the universal flood-brought to safety only a privileged group of the human, animal and plant worlds. In her rescue ark, invested with pictorial chaos where these three worlds emerge, the artist invites us to reprogram ourselves in the time of the spirit, in the vibration of life and bring to safety the whole earth and its inhabitants.
The artwork is a vibrant explosion of color and form, characterized by bold strokes and a dynamic composition. Dominated by deep blues and vivid reds, the painting features abstract figures and shapes intertwined in a chaotic yet harmonious dance. Central to the piece is a large eye-like shape, commanding attention and suggesting themes of perception and awareness. Surrounding it are expressive human-like figures, their forms fluid and energetic, contributing to a sense of movement and tension. Splashes of bright orange and green add contrast, enhancing the visual intensity. The interplay of colors and shapes showcases a masterful balance between abstraction and suggestion, drawing the viewer into a lively, immersive experience. This artwork celebrates the complexity of human emotion and perception through its audacious use of color and form.
