In Fly Over Wide Fields, longing and possibility converge on the surface of a historical world map. Here, geography becomes more than a record of places—it transforms into the stage for a deeply human story. With arms stretched wide like wings, the boy moves effortlessly across continents and oceans, embodying a spirit of freedom that transcends the boundaries of the physical world.

The map introduces a powerful additional layer of meaning. It speaks of journeys, discoveries, and the countless paths a life may take. At the same time, it reminds us of borders, territories, and systems that seek to define and divide. Yet the child glides above them all, untouched by such limitations. His movement becomes a symbol of curiosity, hope, and the universal desire to explore what lies beyond the horizon.

Tizlu's distinctive visual language combines the raw energy of urban art with poetic storytelling. The monochromatic palette directs attention to the essence of the image: the act of flight, the dream of escape, and the courage to imagine new possibilities. The historical map beneath the composition connects personal aspirations with a broader vision of the world, inviting viewers to reflect on both their own journeys and the shared experiences that unite us.

Despite its intimate scale, the artwork possesses a remarkable presence. Presented in an elegant matte-black shadow-gap frame, it feels both contemporary and timeless. Whether displayed as a focal point or integrated into a larger collection, Fly Over Wide Fields offers a quiet yet powerful reminder that the world is not only something we inhabit—it is something we continuously discover.
