Konstantin Kornakov has reimagined Tarot cards by incorporating his unique aesthetic, characterized by the use of characters from his series "The Sub-Cones." This project merges the traditional imagery of Tarot with contemporary and urban elements, creating a distinctive visual language.
The Star is a card of hope, inspiration, and renewal. A woman pours water into a river, symbolizing healing and regeneration. It heralds a return to inner peace and a deep spiritual connection with the universe. The Star is a card of light after darkness.
Symbolism: Hope, inspiration, serenity. The Star is an optimistic card, representing a new beginning full of promise and beauty.
Interpretation: The Star indicates a period of calm, healing, and renewal. It advises following your inner light and remaining optimistic. Reversed, it may suggest a lack of faith or difficulty in seeing hope.
Presentation
Painter and designer, Konstantin Kornakov is also a photographer. His images have the particularity that even if he photographs elements he sees and finds in the street, they represent neither people, nor objects, nor real landscapes.
He uses his device less as a means of recording reality than as an instrument of vision. Because what he photographs are visions first of all. He need indeed have had some kind of visual revelation to be able, then, to press the shutter.
His motives are fragments of urban landscapes, non-identifiable corners with no importance for "where", but with its plastic quality, the visual event, the fact of appearance of an element of beauty in the cacophony of the world.
Artist lives and works in Moscow.
