In the series exhibited, Tilokwattanotai uses a pictorial technique based on successive brushstrokes causing accumulations of coloured material of varying thickness. The transparency and crystallinity of the layer of lacquer that he applies will then freeze these sediments whose texture and colour will take the viewer on a journey of discovery and colour will take the viewer into a contemplative state.
