Game Boy Memories, 2026

Ske   Best sellers

There are images that do not just tell a time period. They instantly reignite the feeling of being ten years old, a console in hand and still a part of it before turning it off.
GAME BOY MEMORIES dives directly into that memory. At the center, the Game Boy becomes almost a generational monument. Pikachu leaps out in an explosion of energy, surrounded by Squirtle, a Poké Ball, a Pokémon cartridge, the Link cable, nearly empty batteries, and those little objects that only those who have known that era look at with an immediate smile.
The "196", the arcade tickets, the pixelated screens, the "Press Start", the "Wanna Play" and the scribbled annotations build a deliberate accumulation: that of a childhood made of games, exchanges, batteries that needed changing too quickly, and Pokémon to catch absolutely.
In this composition, SKE does not seek to reproduce a memory exactly. He reconstructs it with his language: bold colors, rough drawing, street energy, signs, words, and micro-references that overlap like the pages of a pop memory notebook.
The result goes beyond the decorative image. It is a piece designed for those who collect as much works as fragments of their own history. A way to bring a piece of that Game Boy generation to the wall - the one for whom "a last game" was never really one.
