Description

This graphic composition explores a rigorous balance between geometry and spontaneity. The eye navigates through a network of white lines that cut the surface into asymmetrical segments.
The chromatic contrast relies on a dialogue between a solar orange and a deep green. These blocks of color saturate the space, creating a jerky visual rhythm.
The artist here favors an architectural approach. The shapes interlock like pieces of an abstract puzzle, suggesting a structure in ascent.
The aquatint technique brings a particular depth to the colored surfaces. The grain of the paper supports the precision of the lines, while the density of the inks ensures a marked plastic presence.
Realized in 2015, this print plays on the tension between full and empty. Each colored area seems to push against the white boundaries, bringing to life a dynamic and structured grid.
