Description
This artwork displays a fascinating interplay of bold colors and flowing shapes, visualizing a dynamic abstraction. Made from transparent acrylic sheets, the work captivates with its vibrant neon pink and other mixed tones. The pink, ribbon-like structure forms a wave-like base, while the dichroic elements meander through and over it, creating a harmonious yet contrasting blend. The translucency of the material allows light to penetrate, casting color-intensive reflections that enhance the visual effect. The fluidity of the forms suggests movement and energy, inviting the viewer to explore different perspectives. With its clean lines and vibrant color palette, this sculpture touches on modern minimalism, making it a fascinating eye-catcher in any space. Its unique use of color interaction and transparency sets it apart as a remarkable example of contemporary art.
Presentation
Selçuk Dizlek (born 1976 in Schweinfurt) studied at the Nuremberg Art Academy; he is a sculptor, but in his work groups he very subtly blurs the boundaries between painting, object, relief, sculpture, interaction and light art. Time and again, the line emerges as a unifying design element, whether as a sculptural space-occupying "drawing" or as luminous light tracks.
Dizlek's sculptures are geometrically abstract/concrete.
In his œuvre there is a variety of materials: plexiglass, metal, concrete, ceramic tiles and, above all, the fascination of "light", which is used as a sculptural material. Light boxes or sculptures, light steles or sculptures, and color space objects or reliefs made of reflective, fluorescent, and translucent materials such as Plexiglas have been a focus for many years.
