Souffle éternel, 2025

Eternal Breath is the original sculpture that gave birth to the bronze piece "Breath of Life," installed at Place Langevin in Troyes since May 17, 2024. It is the artist's first public commission and the first time the city of Troyes has called upon a female artist for a contemporary sculpture within the beautiful medieval city.

This sculpture presents a seated female figure on a stone. The silhouette is delicately curved, with the legs tucked under the body. One of the most striking features is the stylized, swirling hair, seemingly dancing with the wind, giving the whole piece a dynamic and almost surreal movement. The contrast between the solidity of the metal and the lightness suggested by the design of the hair offers an intriguing duality that captures the viewer's attention. The facial expression offers a universal vision of beauty and contemplation. The sculpture captivates with its delicate balance between strength and fragility and invites serenity.
