"This tree is my first textile sculpture. Sewn entirely by hand, I fashioned it with scraps of leather, velvet, and cotton recovered from upholsterers and a film costume designer. This tree is a young plant, still fragile. Its trunk is frail and it is losing its leaves. It symbolizes for me the fallibility of our nature. This universe that we humans damage a little more every day.", that we invade with our waste. Autumn is my favorite season thanks to its colors, but it is also the decline before winter. A time when plants prepare to sleep for, we hope, a rebirth in spring! This sculpture is a call not to forget that we are part of a whole, human, plants, and vegetation, and that it is important to live together while taking care of each other."

This boldly designed sculptural tree is distinguished by the inventive use of multicolored textile materials.
