Description
Edition: 1/30
The work presented is a Cubist painting on Plexiglas, characterized by its bold use of geometric shapes and vibrant colors. It depicts a stylized face, merging sharp angles and soft curves. The pale blue background accentuates the contrast with the black and white tones of the face, while touches of blue and purple add depth and dynamism. The simplified strokes and expressive lines invite the viewer to explore the complexity of human identity and expression. The artist's innovative approach, combining a modern medium with a classical style, creates a unique piece that is both timeless and contemporary. The work, placed on a wooden surface, evokes a dialogue between tradition and modernity, adding a tactile and visual dimension to the experience.
Presentation
SmaK-titi is a French self-taught street artist. He discovered street art in USA during the 90's in New York and Chicago. This is when his initial work was exhibited on Broadway avenue. He then moved to France.
Smak-titi's universe revolves around pop art and raw art. It's filled with imaginary and colored characters, with unique personalities. Bright fluorescent colors put dynamism and depth in the limelight.
Smak-titi has moved back to France and regularly exhibits there but also in European galleries.
