Description
Work No. 1/30
This artwork stands out for its bold combination of bright, contrasting colors such as fluorescent green, purple, and black. In the center, a stylized, eccentric-looking character captures the eye, borrowing geometric features and accentuated black outlines. Partially visible text in the left corner, "201," adds a mysterious and contemporary dimension to the work. The background, composed of abstract, overlapping shapes, suggests a modern, urban dynamic. The elements seem to interact through intertwined lines and patterns, creating a sense of movement and depth. The work's almost graffiti-like approach evokes a street art influence, expressing a raw, spontaneous energy. This painting reflects a unique fusion of controlled chaos and creative expression, capturing the effervescent spirit of a bustling metropolis.
Presentation
SmaK-titi is a French self-taught street artist. He discovered street art in USA during the 90's in New York and Chicago. This is when his initial work was exhibited on Broadway avenue. He then moved to France.
Smak-titi's universe revolves around pop art and raw art. It's filled with imaginary and colored characters, with unique personalities. Bright fluorescent colors put dynamism and depth in the limelight.
Smak-titi has moved back to France and regularly exhibits there but also in European galleries.
