Description
This striking masterpiece depicts a sculpted gorilla in an imposing and dynamic pose. Coated in bold colors, the blend of pink, red, black, and white creates a striking visual contrast. The splashed paint strokes add a modern and energetic dimension, evoking a sense of strength and vitality. The red lines crossing the sculpture's body accentuate the animal's muscular form, highlighting its raw power. The polished surface catches the light, lending additional depth to the work. This piece transcends simple animal representation, elevating the gorilla to a contemporary icon, blending urban art and classical sculpture. It is an invitation to contemplate the connection between nature and modernity, while celebrating the majesty of wild creatures through a vibrant and bold artistic lens.
Presentation
Born in 1979, Mr. Mollotov is a self-taught artist fascinated by portraits. His ultra realistic paintings are painted with an airbrush, a technique in which he excels. His technique combining shades of gray and play of shadows reveals impressive 3-dimensional portraits of realism.
