Description
This metal sculpture by Szendy Stephane, where elements blend harmoniously to form an intriguing and stylized figure. The head, with its organic and textured contours, evokes a mysterious presence. Below, the slender neck is composed of fine, regular vertical lines, accentuating a sober elegance. At the heart of the structure, a metallic semicircle seems to suggest a discreet smile. The robust, cylindrical base stabilizes the whole, while adding an interesting visual contrast with the slender forms above. The mix of gold and bronze hues accentuates the richness of the materials used. This sculpture, halfway between anthropomorphic rendering and pure abstraction, invites reflection on the interaction between humanity and mechanics. It captures the eye with its originality and stimulates the imagination with its open symbolism.

Contemporary sculptor, Stéphane Szendy shapes wood, bronze, resin, glass and enamel with a mastery worthy of a jeweler. Drawing his inspiration from nature and the history of art, he creates stylized works with clean lines, evoking totems or timeless trophies. Each sculpture is distinguished by a subtle play of textures and patinas, giving a unique depth to his creations.
Trained in Fine Arts and heir to family know-how, Szendy Stéphane cultivates an extreme attention to detail, even to the bases of his works. His work, marked by a rigor and a rare artistic sensitivity, transcends the material to arouse emotion and contemplation. Since 2000, he has exhibited in numerous fairs and participates each year in Maison & Objet. Distinguished by the Arts-Sciences-Lettres medal in 2011, he has been a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France since 2006.
