Description
This unique artwork features a sculpture made of Egyptian Earth (glazed clay) finished with bronze paint. It features exceptional texture and vibrant blue hues interspersed with white speckled patterns, reminiscent of ocean waves. The stylized shape of the fish, with a pronounced dorsal fin, emphasizes a modern and minimalist approach. The careful details and chromatic harmony give this piece a timeless elegance and a dynamic allure. This work perfectly captures the aquatic essence while offering a bold artistic interpretation. A captivating addition to any collection, it draws the eye with its vibrancy and creativity, embodying a subtle balance between form and function.
Presentation
Virginie DEVIN's work intrinsically links natural materials such as bronze, cracked clay, stone, and steel, recreating life through contrasting harmonies.
The characteristic scars that streak the silhouettes of the marine works refer to the individual history of each person: to the stories engraved in the flesh, shaping the profiles with smooth lines and sheared details.
An artist and explorer of the elements, her passion and inspiration come from the ocean, both a source and a universal focal point. Recognized for the uniqueness of her work, the press has covered many of her events. She is also the founding president of the Terre de Vrai association, which educates children about the environment.
