Description
This sculpture by artist VL is presented as a stylized balloon dog, with playful and vibrant shapes. Composed of round, inflated volumes, it evokes the world of childhood and play while asserting a contemporary identity. The glossy finish, in shades of turquoise and gold, captures the light and enlivens the surface, transforming the object into a true sculptural jewel.
With its masterful format, the work stands out as a collector's item, both accessible and refined. It is part of VL's approach: to divert popular and joyful symbols to inscribe them in a contemporary artistic language, where humor, nostalgia and sophistication meet.
Halfway between pop art and design, the sculpture attracts the eye and inspires attachment. It transforms a familiar motif into a precious icon, an everyday object transfigured by art.
Presentation
Visual artist, born in 1981, independent and offbeat, VL has been developing her taste for the arts since her childhood.
This native northerner begins her creative quest on the sly, in her teenage bedroom in search of her artistic language of identity.
Passionate about vanities, esotericism and the world of tattooing, she draws her inspiration from these different universes.
His creations saturated with colors constitute 'Odes to life'. His works Skulls, are sometimes covered with a thousand multicolored dots.
VL offers a vision, alive and vibrant, in his works which nestle the icons of our childhoods Mickey, Pacman etc.
His art absorbs influences, mixes styles and reinvents his own codes ...
Blossoming and her gaze full of life, this existential wrestler continues to open up and free herself by spreading her energy.
A very singular art… vital and extremely joyful!
