Description
This captivating artwork is distinguished by its bold use of geometric shapes and vibrant colors. The circular elements, layered in shades of pink, blue, and purple, create a mesmerizing three-dimensional composition. The striking contrast between the pastel hues and darker shades accentuates the sense of depth. Each circle is harmoniously arranged, evoking an illusion of circular motion. The blue points, rising from the center, add an impressive radial dynamic reminiscent of a fan or a radiant aura. The interplay of shapes and colors encourages continuous visual exploration, while the black background intensifies the overall visual impact. This piece, both modern and timeless, illustrates remarkable technical mastery and boundless creativity, captivating the viewer with its originality and aesthetic complexity.
Presentation
Thierry Corpet - French artist born in 1965, lives and works in Corsica
At the crossroads of visual arts and music, Thierry Corpet draws inspiration from William Burroughs' "cut-up" technique to create hybrid works, where superimpositions and geometric forms translate the emotions arising from listening. Without claiming synesthesia, he seeks to capture the ephemeral and give tangible form to what is usually perceived by the ear.
Each canvas, each sculpture becomes his visual score — an invitation to see his perception of music, to feel the forms and to listen with the eyes.
His work is regularly exhibited in France and internationally. In particular, it was presented at the "Comparaisons 2026" exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris, in the Geometric Abstraction group.
