Description

Introducing "Sculpted white folds. 3D texture," a breathtaking mixed media artwork designed to transform your contemporary living space. This piece, presented in an elegant circular format and crafted on a D75cm wood plate, captures the essence of fluid motion through its relief composition of gently undulating folds. These forms create a captivating diagonal flow, lending the artwork a subtle, internal rhythm that is both calming and dynamically engaging. The interplay of light is central to its allure; brilliant white highlights grace the elevated contours, while soft gray shadows nestle within the depths, revealing the intricate construction of the form.

More than just an artwork, "Sculpted white folds. 3D texture" is a tactile and visual journey. Its essence lies in volume, rich texture, and the delicate shifts of light and shadow, intentionally moving beyond conventional color palettes. The surface responds to ambient light, giving the relief a vibrant, almost living quality as it interacts with its environment. This minimalist artwork is perfect for those who appreciate understated luxury and a piece that you want to visually "touch." It's an exceptional choice for modern interior decor, an impactful statement piece, and an unforgettable gift that conveys refined taste. Ideal for designers and homeowners alike seeking to infuse elegance into any room, this artwork offers a quiet sophistication that speaks volumes.

Presentation

Svetlana Saratova is a self-taught artist working with acrylic and mixed media, currently based in Germany. Born in Belarus and having lived for many years in Russia, she has been painting since childhood, developing her artistic language outside of formal academic structures. Her work explores the quiet poetry of nature — flowers, organic forms, seasonal rhythms, and subtle emotional states.

Saratova's paintings often incorporate texture, layered surfaces, and a restrained color palette. She creates a dialogue between abstraction and recognizable shapes, balancing decorative harmony with expressive spontaneity. Whether through delicate florals or abstract compositions, her art invites a sense of stillness, presence, and gentle introspection.

Inspired by the natural world, light, wind, and movement, she seeks not to imitate nature but to translate its emotional resonance. Her work offers a moment of quiet reflection — a visual space where the viewer can slow down and simply be.

Saratova also teaches drawing to children and adults and has participated in group exhibitions in Germany, Canada, Israel, and the United States. Her works are held in private collections worldwide, including in Germany, the USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan.
