Description
This captivating sculpture, crafted from clay, embodies a bold and organic interpretation of natural forms. The rough, irregular texture of the surface lends the work a tactile depth, drawing the eye into a play of light and shadow. The intense, almost mineral blue color accentuates its mysterious and enigmatic character. Each angle offers a new perspective, revealing an underlying complexity in its design. This unique piece invites contemplation and stimulates the imagination, captivating the viewer in an ongoing dialogue between abstraction and reality.
Signature made with a metal wire.
Presentation
I love working with volume and bringing to life characters or animals that spring from my imagination.
To do this, I use a variety of techniques, switching between them as the mood takes me: modelling with clay, metal, repurposed objects, wood, stone, paper or glass.
I also sometimes combine these materials.
My aim is, above all, to keep my interest fresh: I'm always on the lookout for a new approach, a new technique, and I keep a fresh eye on the world around me. My world blends poetry and gentleness with a touch of humour.
