Description
This artwork is a contemporary sculpture made of metal and clay, characterized by its bold and dynamic form. Rising gracefully from a circular base, it features four stylized elements that appear to defy gravity. The arched, slender arms evoke a sense of fluid movement, highlighting an aesthetic that is both organic and industrial. The textured surface, tinted with bluish hues, captures light in an intriguing way, adding depth and character to the whole. The contrast between the solidity of the material and the apparent lightness of the composition lends this sculpture an enigmatic and captivating quality. It invites the viewer to explore its bold lines and curves, offering a dialogue between the raw material and the delicate beauty of abstract art.
Signature made with a metal wire.
Presentation
I love working with volume and bringing to life characters or animals that spring from my imagination.
To do this, I use a variety of techniques, switching between them as the mood takes me: modelling with clay, metal, repurposed objects, wood, stone, paper or glass.
I also sometimes combine these materials.
My aim is, above all, to keep my interest fresh: I'm always on the lookout for a new approach, a new technique, and I keep a fresh eye on the world around me. My world blends poetry and gentleness with a touch of humour.
