Dessislava Denava is a Bulgarian painter, born in 1966.
Dessislava began studying art at the Beaux-Arts high school in Sofia, and then joined the National Academy of Arts in the Bulgarian capital, she specialized in mural painting.
In her paintings, Dessislava treats almost organic matter. Of course, her training in mural painting has a lot to do with this. Her works seem to present a piece of a wall, a facade which is marked due to time.
Dessislava Denava's works is present in several public and private institutions like Bulgaria, Argentina, Turkey, Belgium, U.S.A, Chili, Egypt, Hungary and Cyprus.
