Description
The work presents itself as an explosion of light and delicacy, where textures and colors blend harmoniously in an abstract composition. The artist used a marked relief that gives the canvas a tactile depth.
The dominant hues are powder pink, gold, pearly white and a few touches of iridescent sky blue, creating a soft and luminous atmosphere. Charlotte Orel is a painter whose works are a translation of the way in which she understands nature, life, the cosmos. To bring perceptions back to matter, she uses natural materials, such as ashes, coal, earth, sand, grape marc, which she collects during her expeditions around the planet.There is a whole work of preparing the raw material which is completely part of the creation of the canvas: it mixes, grinds, filters, before being able to create natural paints. And what is painted on the canvas is channeled, that is to say not of the order of the mind. There is a meditative phase beforehand as well.Once the painting is on the canvas, to present certain paintings, she paints her body, dances, and creates animations and video montages. It is like a tool in the service of Life.
