Biography
Benoit Tessier is a painter born in 1990.
Engineer and architect by training, the themes revolving around the city and its architecture have been came spontaneously. In his paintings, he is mainly based on the search for a poetic and abstract composition based on banal urban images of our lives daily.
Having grown up in the Paris region (Malakoff - 92), he became interested in the different landscapes conflicts that can be observed in the Paris suburbs, such as between the pavilion fabric and the one of the large ensembles. Indeed, large complexes are sometimes built on the periphery of the pavilion, some of them are located near the old town and this creates a conflicting juxtaposition interesting as well as a remarkable visual mix.
By painting these buildings from the modern movement and these pavilions resulting from the shady law, it tries to reflect the diversity, the richness and relevance of certain places, he tries to pursue some memories, he tries to make suburban buildings attractive and appealing, which no one pays attention to.
