Biography
Gilles Rieu was born in 1953 in Saint-Céré, region of Lot. A self-taught painter, initially he was a caseworker.
He creates art by drawing inspiration from abstraction, but also by carrying on his various artistic searches, mainly the one based on memories.
Gilles Rieu's work has been exhibited in France, Quebec, USA, Vietnam and Japan.
