Biography
I am an ex-Parisian, photographer by training, and living in Montreal since April 1968. I opened a professional photo lab there and operated it successfully for over 40 years.
Now retired for a few years, I discovered abstract acrylic painting and became addicted to it. Creating a work of art is a full-time activity ... You have to imagine it for several days, sometimes weeks, choose in your head its format, colors, style and try to imagine in advance the final result ... but… mission impossible… I work a lot with semi-liquid paint and it's extremely difficult to control! However, if the artist tries to impose his wishes on the still blank canvas, painting plays tricks on you. The end result is often pleasant, sometimes surprising and is sometimes a source of frustration or great satisfaction.
