Biography
Nemanja Nikolic is a contemporary artist of Serbian origin, based in London since 2011. Specializing in abstract painting, he explores concepts such as entropy, color theory, texture and composition, within the movement of Abstract Expressionism. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna (BFA) and the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan (MFA cum laude), he was awarded the Premio Arte Mondadori in 2007 for his photograph "Fishing".
His works have been exhibited at events such as the Venice Biennale (2022) and the Affordable Art Fair in London. His creations are included in private collections in over 30 countries. He cites Kazimir Malevich, Caravaggio, Mark Rothko, and Gerhard Richter as his influences.
