Self-taught artist, influenced by "color field painting" and informalism, with a pictorial style that always seeks innovation and uses a wide range of types of paints.
Biography
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
