Description
This abstract artwork captivates with a dynamic blend of colors and textures, evocative of Spain's diverse landscapes. Dominated by swirling shades of gray and azure, the composition suggests a stormy seascape merging with tumultuous skies. Vivid streaks of pink, yellow, and orange introduce vibrant energy, reminiscent of a dramatic sunset piercing a cloudy horizon. The textured layers enhance depth, inviting viewers to explore each intricate nuance. This interplay of fluidity and contrast captures both movement and stillness, creating an immersive visual experience. The artwork's bold execution and rich palette reflect a masterful balance of chaos and harmony, making it a striking and memorable piece.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
