Biography

Ekaterina Khovanskaya is an artist. Born in Pskov, she now works and lives in St. Petersburg. Her creative education includes children's art school, individual lessons with the artist Markul Dmitry Borisovich, various courses related to painting, both technical and theoretical. 

In her paintings the artist uses mainly oil and acrylic. Most of her works can be attributed to symbolism. Catherine's works are about goodness, the beauty of this world. “One of the ideas attracting me is the transmission of textures, often imperfect in their form, but conveying the most precious thing - natural beauty, the breath of freedom, the very life energy." 

In 2019 she started a collaboration with the production of decorative cushions, where many of her works have become the visual basis for home interior elements.
