Description
Between the sky, the swimming pools and the sea, blue, always blue… and light. It doesn't matter if the scenes take place during the day or at night, the rooms light up when the sun sets and reveal magnificent water mirrors. Al Freno's works evoke a certain tranquility and create an opposition to the fantasized agitation of the jet society.
Al Freno exhibits throughout the world, notably in Los Angeles, Seoul, London and Paris.
Presentation
Al Freno is a Belgian painter, born in 1978 in Cambrai. He remembers that he started drawing very early, captivated by the greats such as Dalí and Picasso. While studying at the school of architecture, he chose to change his career by enrolling in the School of Fine Arts. Al Freno is quoted as saying: “I have traveled a lot in many countries and I think that is where my passion for the blue, the sea, dream villas and swimming pools comes from. I like to take the viewer on a journey through my paintings. That they can dive, in a way, into painting. I exhibit in Los Angeles, London, Seoul, Paris."
