Description
This work of art, an abstract canvas, immediately captures attention with its bold use of colors and textures. At first glance, one is struck by the duality between the dark and light shades that coexist without competing. The upper part of the canvas is dominated by a deep and mysterious blue, evoking a night sky agitated by the movement of clouds. This blue is dotted with lighter, almost luminescent touches, creating an impression of infinite depth, like an open window on the universe. In striking contrast, the lower part is bathed in fiery tones of red and orange. These warm colors spread with intensity, suggesting a crackling fire or a blazing sunset. The brushstrokes, visible and dynamic, infuse an almost palpable energy into the composition. Bursts of golden light dot the scene, adding focal points that draw the eye and add a dreamlike dimension to the whole. The use of textures, achieved through paint layering techniques, gives a tactile richness to the flat surface. The artist succeeds in creating a harmonious tension between calm and violence, between the serene sky and the volcanic earth. This work is not only an exploration of colors, but an invitation to contemplate the emotions and contrasts inherent in the human condition.

Nadine de Lespinats is a self-taught French painter, bronze medalist from the Academy of Arts Sciences Letters and listed in Akoun.
Her work lies at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and semi-figuration. Using oil paints, which she prefers to apply with a palette knife, she creates works of dense and vibrant texture, where color acts as a vehicle for emotion and inner resonance.
With the series Éternelles , the artist takes a new step in her artistic exploration. She incorporates framing devices into the very heart of the work and enriches its surfaces with the use of gold leaf, lace, and pearls. These precious elements establish a subtle dialogue between memory, matter, and light, while preserving the gestural force that constitutes the signature of her pictorial language.
