ATACAMA, by Fanny Finkelman Szyller Polished metal, oxides, and pigments on wood Dimensions: 28 H x 28 W x 4 D cm. This precious landscape is all the result of the exploration of small pieces of metal intervening with different acids that the artist has finished with color pigments and gold powder.
This artwork is a striking mixed-media piece featuring a circular form set within a deep black square frame. The circular focal point presents a serene landscape where a muted sky seamlessly meets an earthy terrain.
