Fanny Finkelman Szyller

Assembler Violeta N°2 by Fanny Finkelman Szyller Acrylic, bent aluminum, screws, painted aluminum, and aluminum. Dimensions:  40 H x 40 W x 14 D cm.

This artwork masterfully combines geometric simplicity with bold color to create a striking visual effect. At its center, a deep purple, semi-transparent form is elegantly divided, suggesting duality or contrast, adding depth and intrigue to the composition. These forms are set against a smooth, circular grey background, which provides a stark contrast, enhancing the vividness of the purple. The interplay of light and shadow on the curved surfaces creates a dynamic, almost ethereal quality, drawing viewers into the piece. Its minimalistic yet impactful design speaks to a modern aesthetic, while the clever use of color and shape makes it uniquely captivating. This work invites contemplation, blending modern abstract elements with a harmonious balance that captures the imagination.

Fanny Finkelman's sculptures are the result of a continuous exploration of the many materials with which the artist has worked over the years. The artist's three-dimensional sculptures are full of transparency through the combination of various materials and objects that have been thrown away. Adding color to each piece is essential, but within the aesthetic context that controls the final form.
