Fanny Finkelman Szyller

Assembler Naranja N°3. Wall sculpture Acrylics, aluminum, screws, and painted metal ring on aluminum Dimensions: 40 H x 40 W x 9 D cm. 2021 .

This artwork is a striking contemporary piece featuring a bold interplay of geometric forms and contrasting textures. Dominated by a vibrant orange circle set against a stark black backdrop, the composition draws the eye immediately. Centrally placed is a textured, rust-like metal ring enveloping a smaller black circle, within which metallic elements create a dynamic, industrial feel. The juxtaposition of the smooth, bright surface with the rough metal adds depth and intrigue. Its layered construction suggests themes of balance and tension, inviting viewers to explore its dimensional interplay. This piece's minimalist yet powerful design speaks to modernist influences while retaining a distinct, commanding presence.

Fanny Finkelman's sculptures are the result of a continuing exploration of the many materials that the artist has worked with over the years. The three-dimensional artists' sculptures are full of transparency by the combination of various materials and objects that have been thrown away. Adding color to each piece is essential, but in the aesthetic context that controls the final form.
