Australian Aboriginal artist Darby Ross Tjampitjinpa was born in 1905 in the community of Yuendumu. In his work Darby represents a dream associated with the Rdukarri site. Before Darby was responsible for the site, it belonged to his paternal grandfather. Rdukarri is an important ceremonial site for the Jampijinpa/Jangala who own the site and the dream associated with emus in particular. Darby Ross Tjampitjinpa died in 2005.
