Tito Porazza
Born in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Tito Porazza showed his artistic aptitude from his childhood. In the world of the arts, he expressed himself through drawing, painting, and performing arts. He studied at the Macunaima Theater School, and participated in several shows with the group Ponta e Fala (PUC-Pontifica Universidade Catolica).
Subsequently he became a jewelry designer, which reinforced his taste for art and led him, between various exhibitions, to meet the sculptor Claudio Callia. In his workshop, he deepens pictorial techniques.
His figurative style with striking colors reproduces scenes from his daily life or his imagination, always imbued with striking colors and a certain malice in the depths of the eyes. “Les petits groses” in his paintings symbolizes his cry against the imposition of measures in the fashion world as well as his concern about excessive food consumption.
This posture, in addition to reinforcing his desire to prove that all (and all) are free to live as they want, already foreshadowed studies on obesity and the presence in fashion of King Size models. In some paintings, the animal aspect of the characters demonstrates the individualism and selfishness of human beings in today's world. In his current phase Tito Porazza denounces false moralism, even if his paintings always retain a funny and colorful style, full of humor.
Nudity is the symbol of absolute freedom to demonstrate that everyone has the right to live as they wish, without having to comply with the precepts of society. We find his paintings in England, Belgium, Brazil, Costa Rica, Italy, Japan, Portugal, and Switzerland.
