Vladimir Avramov

Born in 1970 in Vraca-Bulgaria, graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, specializing in mural painting, doctor in art history which he teaches at the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria. He has obtained numerous distinctions and prizes, among which the grand prize of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture at the first biennial of religious art in 2009, and the medal of honor "St Stefan de Perme". Vladimir Avramov does artistic research in many fields: mural painting, mosaic, religious frescoes, icons. He publishes in scientific journals and organizes exhibitions. Between 1997 and 2015, he projected and executed with his team no less than 10,000 m² of paintings and mosaics. In parallel with his activities, he creates works of contemporary art presented here.
