Otto Pilny

Biography

Otto F. Pilny was an artist born in the Czech Republic in 1866 and died in 1936.

He studied in Prague before living in Vienna and eventually settling in Zurich. He visited Egypt for the first time in 1875, staying for two years, traveling with the nomadic Bedouin tribes and painting scenes of nighttime entertainment.
