Biography
Born in May 1953, he studied at the fine arts school of Grenoble, then went to Nice where he frequented the artistic milieu for about ten years. It is in his house, located on the heights of Bastia that Antoine Pisano installed his workshop. In this superb setting where nature is king, he can thus take off from reality to live his passion: painting.
This artist who readily admits to having made a long journey through the desert to the point of not having been able to unveil his paintings for a long time, has finally decided to show his impressive work both by the quality of the works and by their diversity.
Let us not see in this attitude any contempt for art lovers but rather a will to tame time so that his often premonitory works can be accepted by the general public. Antoine Pisano paints by instinct guided by an inspiration that is mystical and religious.
