Biography
Valentine Bouvet is a painter, born in 1994.
She drew during her first 20 years, before choosing oil painting as her favorite medium.
Her realistic works, sometimes bordering on surrealism, reflect the image of the female body that she has constructed since childhood.
She therefore makes it a point of honor to represent society and its treatment of women.
Beautiful colors, pretty shapes to draw the eye to what bothers it.
From the jealousy of some, to the machismo of some, she wants to expose an intimate vision of what she has experienced, of the difficulty of positioning herself in a world where a woman must always prove herself.
After exhibiting in April 2023, the artist is preparing a new solo exhibition.
