Biography

The figurative or non-figurative paintings that I present are created following walks along trails during which, without being on the lookout for anything, suddenly it clicks. This in view of a few fragments of cracked cliffs, a few mounds of rocks slapped by the sea... In short, faced with natural elements which, as robust as they were, do not escape slow deterioration over time. Without neglecting this phenomenon, this fragment of the external world that I wish to treat responds above all to an expectation of the internal world which allows me to reflect.

My goal is not to paint a view of reality or a view of the mind, it is what the conscious/unconscious duo allows me to concretize and finalize. After having retained the guidelines which are at the origin of a network which favors the conscious structuring of the composition, I feel the necessity to give free rein to an unconscious spontaneity which adds the inflections which I expected.
