Biography

The expression in my works is never too calculated nor premeditated. From a global idea, from any random starting point, I give free rein to my imagination in front of the canvas, in the silence of the studio or that of the night, in a half-sleep, where I continue to compose my colors, my shapes, which evolve according to what is created gradually in the work. I also often allow spontaneous gestures to emerge from a global, non-progressive expression.

The viewer's gaze often interprets what he sees with his own universe, just as I can take a work and give it another life, according to the emotion of the moment. A work, for me, is never fixed, it expresses a play between reality, imagination and memory ; a projection from which a process of interiorization begins.
